Please refrain from copying or reproducing any content from our website or social media platforms without prior written consent. By attending a class, you agree not to replicate, redistribute, or use any part of the class materials, website content, or social media posts for personal or commercial purposes without permission.

1. Booking, Refunds and Cancellation Policy: ( Galina to revise )

• Booking: Workshops and classes must be booked with at least 24 hours’ notice to secure your spot.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your booking with a full refund * up to 3 days before the scheduled workshop. Cancellations made within 3 days of the class are non-refundable.

• Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your booking, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.

2. Venue Hire Deposit & Payment: ( Galina to revise )

• A $150 deposit is required to secure your venue hire booking. The balance must be paid in full at least 48 hours before the event. This includes exclusive use of the venue.

• We have a maximum capacity of 50 people for our venue.

• For bookings with over 30 people, an additional deposit bond of $200 is required. This bond will cover any potential damage to the venue, furniture, sewing machines, equipment, kitchen items, or appliances. If any damage occurs, the cost will be deducted from the deposit bond.

• Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance. Your deposit will be subtracted from the total bill, assuming there is no damage to the venue or its intellectual property.

3. Furniture, Equipment, and Damage Liability:

• All furniture, sewing machines, equipment, and kitchen items provided by Galina’s Sewing and Creative Studio must be handled with care. Any damage or breakage will be the responsibility of the person making the booking and will need to be covered by them.

• The venue must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided. If any damage occurs, the cost of repairs or replacement will be deducted from your deposit bond.

4. Responsible Service of Alcohol & Food Safety:

• Galina’s Sewing and Creative Studio holds a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who is intoxicated or not meeting health and safety standards.

• All food served at the venue will meet health and safety guidelines for serving warm food or refrigerating cold items. However, we are not responsible for any food brought into the venue by guests.

• Catering services, food, and alcohol are additional costs and will be agreed upon in advance before the event.

5. Active & Creative Kids Vouchers:

• We accept both Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers for our workshops. Please note that these vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable. If the voucher expires before the scheduled class, it cannot be used or extended.

6. Gift Cards:

• Our gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase. After the two-year** expiration period, they will no longer be valid, and we cannot offer extensions.

7. NDIS Bookings: ( Galina to revise )

• We accept NDIS bookings for eligible participants. A payment request will be sent directly to your NDIS provider, and payment must be received before the day of the class to confirm your booking. Please ensure your provider processes the payment on time to avoid any delays or cancellations.

8. Food Allergy Disclaimer:

• At Galina’s Sewing and Creative Studio, we take food allergies seriously and strive to accommodate dietary restrictions. However, due to the presence of potential allergens in our environment, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free space.

We are not responsible for any allergic reactions, and participants with severe nut allergies should exercise caution. It is the responsibility of the individual or their guardian to inform us of any allergies prior to the event. In the case of a severe allergic reaction, it is the responsibility of the individual or their guardian to administer their own EpiPen or seek immediate medical attention. We also ask that guests bring their own food and allergy management supplies, as we cannot provide personal medical care.

9. Use of Photos:

• By participating in our workshop classes, you grant Galina’s Sewing & Creative Studio permission to take photographs and videos during the session. These images may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media platforms, websites, marketing materials, and other external promotions. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us prior to the start of the session. Your privacy and comfort are important to us, and we will always respect your preferences.

By attending classes at Galina’s Sewing & Creative Workshops, you consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during the sessions for promotional purposes. These images may appear on our social media channels, website, marketing materials, or other public platforms. If you prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, please notify us before the class begins. We respect your privacy and will accommodate any requests accordingly.

10. Children’s Safety & Supervision:

• We welcome children in our workshops, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety while they are on our premises. Our staff holds valid Working with Children checks, and we will supervise your child throughout the session. Please be aware that your child will be using sewing machines, irons, sharp scissors, and other tools. By attending, you acknowledge that your child will be working with these items under our supervision.

11. Intellectual Property:

• All patterns, techniques, and materials provided in our workshops or venue hire events are for personal use only. Participants and guests are prohibited from copying, reproducing, or using any part of the content, patterns, or information provided during the workshop for professional or commercial purposes.

12. Liability:

• Galina’s Sewing and Creative Studio is not liable for any injury or loss during the workshop or venue hire event. Please use equipment responsibly and follow the guidance of your instructor.
